Now that you’re pushing your breezy dresses and flowy skirts to the back of your closet in exchange for knits and coats, you might be thinking you have to do the same with some of your hijabs. I’m here to tell you – don’t! Even lightweight hijab fabrics, like chiffon, can be styled for fall and winter. In fact, if chiffon hijabs are your jam, there’s no need to change anything come cooler weather! Because sometimes chiffon hijabs are exactly what your warm, cozy outfit need to complete it, especially when it comes to layering!
Chiffon is one of the most versatile fabrics for hijabs and one of the most elegant and flowing. Although often thought of as being more appropriate for the warmer months, chiffon is the perfect fabric to continue to incorporate into your winter wardrobe to look polished with minimal effort. I’m going to outline several ways you can get your glow on this winter by adding a chiffon to your outfit as showcased by Haute Hijab’s very own Melanie, who is known for flawlessly styling chiffons and layering in the fall and winter time!
1. Snuggly Scarves
One of the best things about winter is that you can finally bring out the neck scarves – the giant blanket scarves, thick knitted scarves, and comfortable flannel scarves. However, trying to tuck a bit heavier or larger size hijab under a thick scarf can get overwhelming. The perfect solution is opting for a chiffon, like Melanie does here with her Everyday Chiffon Hijab in Chestnut. It makes the look more streamlined and comfortable to wear.
